Martin Mullins
Martin Mullins is Visiting Professor at the Vicomtech Foundation and Co-Leader of the Emerging Risk Group at Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, where he is Professor of Risk and Insurance.
He is also a member of the Expert Group on Digital Ethics in Insurance at European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) and currently works with the Central Bank of Ireland as a data ethicist.
Professor Mullins teaches on Ireland’s national MSc programme in Artificial Intelligence, specialising in risk and ethics. His research focuses on risk governance, digital ethics and emerging technologies, including multiple European Commission–funded projects on privacy, risk metrics and insurance in assisted driving systems. Through his academic, policy and advisory roles, he contributes to shaping responsible, ethical approaches to risk and innovation in data-driven sectors.
